Kedatangan Gubernur yang akrab disapa Paman Birin di Kota Serambi Mekkah disambut hangat Sekda Banjar HM Hilman dan puluhan siswa (i) termasuk kepala sekolah Saryono.
Kegiatan diawali dengan penanaman pohon di lingkungan sekolah sekaligus menyerahkan secara simbolis Kartu Tanda Penduduk (KTP) saat perekaman kepada perwakilan siswa (i) yang mencapai usia 17 tahun di mobil Pelayanan Administrasi Kependudukan, Baurusan Nyaman, Gratis wan Sanang Hati (Pelanduk Bungas) Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kabupaten Banjar.
Paman Birin Kemudian menyerahkan bantuan logistik penanggulangan bencana daerah, sembako, gemar makan ikan dan sosial, gerakan pembagian bendera merah putih serta bantuan tanaman salah satunya bibit alpukat.
Paman Birin menyampaikan, Turdes Kemerdekaan kali ini dalam rangka pengendalian inflasi, penurunan stunting, revolusi hijau dan pemenuhan dokumen kependudukan. Turdes ini bertajuk Bergerak Lintas Beribu Sungai Banua 2023 mengingat di Kalsel mempunyai ribuan sungai yang terdapat di 13 kabupaten/kota.
Sementara Sekda Banjar HM Hilman mengucap syukur Turdes Kemerdekaan masuk Kabupaten Banjar. Terkait dengan beberapa aktivitas dan isu saat ini seperti penurunan stunting, pengendalian inflasi dan pendidikan menurutnya, perlu kerja sama semua pihak.
”Semoga semangat ini bisa menjadi momentum untuk kita bersama-sama menyelesaikan masalah-masalah yang jadi tugas bangsa ini pada zaman kemerdekaan sekarang,’ ungkapnya.
Ditempat yang sama Kepala SMAN 2 Martapura Saryono mengaku gembira dan bangga karena sekolahnya disambangi oleh orang nomor satu di Kalsel dalam rangka Turdes Kemerdekaan.
“Sudah lama sekali saya ingin mendatangkan Gubernur Kalsel pada even tertentu tetapi belum berhasil, dan hari ini suatu kebanggan bagi kami karena Paman Birin mau mengunjungi sekolah kami tercinta,” imbuhnya.
Usai sambangi SMAN 2 Martapura, Paman Birin dan rombongan melanjutkan Turdesnya ke Darussalam dan Tahfiz Martapura. Rencananya kegiatan akan ditutup pada malam hari di Desa Kiram Kecamatan Karang Intan Kabupaten Banjar.(md/rsb)
